Markanian’s Chain. String of galaxies that lie in a curved line from top left to bottom right in this image. Consists of 8 galaxies (M84, M86, NGC 4477, NGC 4473, NGC 4461, NGC 4458, NGC 4438 and NGC 4435), at least 7 that travel in the same motion as one another. Located in Virgo Cluster of galaxies appoximately 50 million light years away.
